Description
A martial arts club founded in Brighton in 1978, with a full-time dojo on Lewes Road since 1982. It teaches Wado-Ryu karate, kickboxing and K1, and Thai boxing, with junior classes, women-only kickboxing sessions led by female instructors and a beginners’ Thai boxing class. Aikido and traditional jiu-jitsu clubs also train there.

Before you visit
Contact the club to arrange a trial period, which must be booked and paid for in advance. Boxing is offered as one-to-one instruction only.

Prices & membership
Membership only, paid monthly: £32 a month for one adult session a week (£23 for juniors), plus annual membership (£25 adults) and insurance (£15 adults). There is no pay-as-you-go; a pre-paid adult trial costs £40 for karate or £45 for kickboxing and Thai boxing.
