Description
A full-time martial arts academy in its own unit at Venture Point on Stanney Mill Road, near Cheshire Oaks, about seven minutes’ drive from Chester. Adults and teenagers from 13 start with kickboxing and can move on to a cross-training martial arts programme; there are separate children’s classes from age 5.

Before you visit
Wear comfortable exercise clothing and bring water for a first class. The unit is just off junction 10 of the M53, a 15-minute walk from the Cheshire Oaks bus links.

Prices & membership
The first class is free. Payment options include monthly plans, and the academy says classes work out at £4 to £9 each depending on how often you train, with family discounts.
