Description

A traditional Shotokan karate club founded in 2010 that trains at The Dojo, its own matted martial arts centre on the first floor of the Seabase Units at Treloggan Industrial Estate. Seniors classes for ages 12 and up run on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, alongside junior and intermediate classes for children.

Before you visit

The Dojo is above Blystra Signs, down the left-hand side of Screwfix in the Treloggan estate, with parking in the car park in front. Sessions start promptly and the door is locked once a session begins, so arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.

Prices & membership

The first two sessions are free. A joining fee follows (£59 for seniors, £49 for juniors), covering a karate gi, the first year’s licence and insurance, a club badge and the next two sessions. After that it is £8 per session, or a monthly membership from £30, with no contracts. Gradings cost £25 (£35 at brown belt).
