Description
A Shotokan karate club teaching in Exeter since 1966, affiliated to the Karate Union of Great Britain. It trains in its own dojo on Church Road in St Thomas, with a main hall and a matted small dojo, and runs beginner, intermediate and advanced classes, a Karate Tigers class for children aged five to ten and a competition squad.

Before you visit
Beginners should email the club to book a place in a beginners’ class. Parking nearby is limited; Flowerpot Lane and Okehampton Street car parks are about ten minutes’ walk away.

Prices & membership
Training is £5 a session, with family concessions. Beginners pay a one-off joining fee that includes a karate suit and belt: £35 for adults and £30 for under-16s.
