Description
A martial arts academy at the YMCA on The Kingsway in the city centre, teaching gi and no-gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu, submission grappling, MMA and Muay Thai. Adult classes run on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, with early-morning and lunchtime open mats for members. Children from age 4 have BJJ and combat jiu-jitsu (self-defence) classes after school.

Before you visit
Muay Thai and MMA classes are for ages 16 and over; gloves and other kit are provided during the trial. The YMCA is a five-minute walk from Swansea bus station, and there is free one-hour street parking outside.
