Description
A full-time martial arts school on the top floor of 34 The Strand, behind the city library, teaching traditional Lau Gar kung fu, kickboxing and self-defence. Classes are pay as you go with no contract, and Saturday has children’s kickboxing.

Just turn up to a class and pay in cash: the centre has no card machine. The nearest car park is on Bold Lane.

Prices & membership
Adults pay £8 a class, £13 for two classes in a week, £15 for a week of unlimited classes or £40 for four weeks; under-17s pay £6 a class. Cash only, with no contracts.
